1. General Terms & Conditions

Piece by Peace Studio by Kelli Bos (“the Studio,” “we,” “our”) provides sewing instruction, digital courses, LIVE sessions, studio access, and related services. By booking a class or accessing our website, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

Eligibility

• Students must be able to follow safety instructions and operate equipment responsibly.

• Minors require a parent/guardian to complete the participation waiver.

Conduct

• Respectful behavior is required at all times.

• Unsafe or disruptive behavior may result in removal without refund.

Intellectual Property

All course materials, videos, downloads, and patterns are the property of Piece by Peace Studio. You may not copy, distribute, or resell any content without written permission.
 

2. Studio Safety & Equipment Policy

To maintain a safe learning environment:

• Only Studio‑approved machines may be used unless otherwise stated.

• Students must follow all safety instructions from the instructor.

• Closed‑toe shoes are recommended for in‑person classes.

• Misuse of equipment may result in removal from class.
   

3. Refund & Cancellation Policy

Studio Classes

• Cancel 48+ hours before class → full credit.

• Cancel within 48 hours → non‑refundable.

• If the Studio cancels, you receive a full refund or credit.

Digital Courses

• Digital products are non‑refundable once accessed or downloaded.

Events & Private Lessons

• Require 72‑hour cancellation notice.

• No refunds for missed appointments.
   

4. Online Class Participation Waiver

By enrolling in any online class, course, or LIVE session, you agree to the following:

Safe Use of Equipment

You understand that sewing tools and machines can be dangerous if used improperly. You agree to operate all equipment safely and follow instructions provided during the class.

Assumption of Risk

You acknowledge that you are responsible for your own workspace, tools, and equipment. Piece by Peace Studio is not liable for injuries, accidents, or property damage occurring in your home or remote location.

Parent/Guardian Responsibility

For minors:

• A parent/guardian must be present or reachable.

• The adult is responsible for supervising the child’s use of sewing tools.

No Guarantee of Results

Results vary based on skill level, equipment, and participation. No specific outcome is guaranteed.
 

5. LIVE Video, Recording & Photo Release

By joining any LIVE session, you grant Piece by Peace Studio permission to:

• Display your video, audio, chat messages, and shared content

• Record the session for replay or educational use

• Capture screenshots of your participation

• Use images or clips of your work for marketing, social media, or promotional materials

Your Options

If you prefer not to appear on camera:

• Turn off your video

• Participate through audio or chat

• Request your name be hidden or abbreviated in replays

Children in LIVE Sessions

Parents/guardians agree that:

• Children may appear on camera

• Their participation may be visible to other attendees

• Their image or voice may appear in session recordings

If you do not want your child recorded, please turn off their camera and notify the instructor before class begins.
 

6. Rewards Program Terms

Earning Points

Points are earned through purchases, attendance, and special promotions. Points have no cash value.

Redeeming Points

Points may be applied to eligible classes, digital products, or studio merchandise. Points cannot be transferred, sold, or exchanged.

Expiration

Points expire after 12 months of inactivity.

Program Changes

We may modify or discontinue the rewards program at any time.
 

7. Privacy Policy

Information We Collect

• Name, email, phone number

• Booking history

• Payment information (processed securely through Wix Payments or third‑party processors)

• Optional student notes (age, sewing level, preferences)

How We Use Your Information

• To schedule classes

• To deliver digital products

• To communicate updates, reminders, and promotions

• To improve Studio services

Data Protection

We do not sell or share your personal information. All payments are processed through secure, PCI‑compliant systems.
